KAYLENE: WE ARE HIRING!

Yes!!! After weeks of consideration, it is time to let our girls in KAYLENE have a mini promotion! Haha~ Sorta kinda... We felt that I am not as fit as before and as the expansion continues (you will know more about this soon) it is about time I let go and hand over more admin roles to the girls. I will still concentrate on the designs though. Fret not ladies! I will also be working in shop front as usual too! Now back to business... Here are the following requirements we need for the mentioned position.

> PERMANENT PART TIME SALES ASSISTANT

• Minimum age: 21 years old
• Punctuality is a MUST. 
• Able to commit a permanent position
• Weekends preferred (1pm to 9pm)
• Hourly rate and additional commission*
• Must have bubbly personality and VERY customer oriented
• Able to communicate and work closely with manager-on-duty
• Plus size preferred (UK sizing 18 and above)

> FREELANCE, NON CONTRACTED BY AGENCY PLUS SIZE MODEL

• Must have flexible timing for the scheduled shoot (mostly weekdays after 5pm)
• Able to commit 3-4 hours per session
• Must be extremely comfortable in front of the camera
• Paid job per session with 1 free outfit* per shoot
• Knows how to do basic foundation make up is bonus
• Able to communicate and work closely with photographer-on-duty and model mentor 
• Must be minimum UK 16-18 
• Must not be contracted by any agency or bonded by any other company

KAYLENE: C'est si bon Collection includes Korean designs!

Hey all,

We've been back from Korea for a week now and since then it has been a jam packed week! In Korea, we were overwhelmed with loads of very beautiful items and were so inspired by the Korean fashion and the materials used were so fantastic! I was so inspired and couldnt wait to go back home to get all my drawings done up.

On the way back home, I had a stopover in Hong Kong to visit my favourite supplier. To my delight, she had just gotten back from Korea as well and had loads of Korean designs made for the plus size. I squealed when I saw them! The designs and workmanship is impeccable, the fit was perfect! In simple words, perfect 10!

The designs are way out of our usuall comfort zone and this series has injected a fresh zest to KAYLENE collection. It is a challange I must say, but we are definitely willing to take on the task to give you even better, one of a kind products..

Below are the few we have prepared for you. More will be up after we finish our photoshoot!

Blog: OOTD and what Kayde has been up to...

Another CRAZZZZEEEE week! Woooo Thank God it is over (almost) and I am looking forward to my buying trip in Korea next week as I will be hunting for fabrics made in korea and cute findings like buttons and lace. I am soooo excited! I also  had a very special meeting yesterday. Am very honoured to be selected for this project but I need to firm up some details before I can announce it. Cant help it ladies, I am typical Chinese and I am superstitious on such things. heh heh~ We are also in the midst of launching a new jewelry line. (yeah, didnt expect us to move in such speed!) This time we are going to level it up by incorporating a much sought after stone and give it a modern twist! What it is, I cant tell you yet! But soon I promise, after we have firm up all the details!

Back to my OOTD (outfit of the day) I didnt managed to shoot all my outfits for this week but i thought 2 will be good! I promise to post more in future! *winks!* Both are currently my favourite for this latest collection! I designed this dress with 'ladies not sure what to wear on Mondays' in mind. The idea of 'Wear and Go' came into my mind but I deliberately added paneling to make up look visually slimmer. It is important you know! The bloouse was straight forward. It was our super duper hotseller and can even call it our classic design where we used tulips sleeves and also cute prints! When supplier showed me the fabric, I had to say YES CHOPE CHOPE CHOPE! SOOOO PRETTY! Thank God I got the fabric in time. Judging from the sales, I did the right thing.

I have more fabric coming along mostly from Hong Kong and Korea, expensive but super duper pretty. When we receive the fabric we may post up more images for you to see!
